**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a welcoming environment for patrons and staff.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns according to established procedures.
+ Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the retail location.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location staff as needed to support security-related needs and requests.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
