Entry Level Financial Analyst - Chicago Ridge

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading transportation company based in Chicago Ridge, IL, providing innovative logistics solutions across North America. Our clients’ continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Entry Level Financial Analyst Candidate to join their finance team and help drive strategic financial decisions.

This role is back in the office four days a week in Chicago Ridge, IL and is budgeted up to a base of $75,000.

As a Financial Analyst , you will support financial planning and analysis activities by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. This role is ideal for a candidate early in their finance career who is looking to build strong FP&A fundamentals while partnering with cross-functional teams in the transportation industry.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast updates across business units

• Build and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and trends

• Assist with monthly financial reporting and preparation of management reporting packages

• Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and explain results versus budget and forecast

• Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making

• Track KPIs and help identify opportunities for cost control and margin improvement

• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Financial Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related internships

• Strong Excel skills required; exposure to financial modeling preferred

• ERP experience (SAP or similar) is a plus but not required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Interest in transportation or logistics industry preferred but not required
