About Slips Hideaway
Slips Hideaway is an elevated lakeside destination where guests can dock their boats, enjoy a refined yet relaxed dining experience, and unwind with exceptional views and service. Located at the beautiful Kinkaid Marina, we combine upscale comfort with warm hospitality creating a place where locals and lakegoers love to gather. Were building a strong, professional team for our launch and are seeking servers who bring grace, confidence, and great energy to every table.
What Youll Do
- Welcome guests with polished, attentive service
- Guide guests through the menu with knowledgeable recommendations
- Deliver food & beverages with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and elevated dining atmosphere
- Assist with dockside guest needs (seating coordination, togo orders, etc.)
- Process POS transactions and handle payments
- Work in harmony with bar, kitchen, and marina staff
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations
What Were Looking For
- Prior serving experience is preferred (upscale dining a plus)
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced, highvolume seasonal environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable being on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must meet IL state age requirement for alcohol service
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and peak lakeseason days
