Registered Nurse Manager

The Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Manager is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative leadership of the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with regulatory standards, hospital goals, and best practices in cardiovascular nursing. The Nurse Manager will lead a team of RNs, technologists, and support staff, overseeing workflow, resource utilization, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions in assigned units.
- Supervises, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care.
- Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.
- Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the unit and effectively utilizes nursing personnel, time responsibilities for the unit and is directly accountable to the CNO/DON.
- Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
- Consults with staff, physicians and Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. BLS upon hire and maintain current.
3. ACLS within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
5. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
6. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred.

Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $88,483.20 to $119,100.80 on an annualized basis.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
