Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Behaviour Change-Exercise & Sport Psychology- Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
- Duration: Continuing
- Types of positions available: Open to candidates with either a combined teaching and research focus or an education focus.
- Remuneration: $127k - $178k base (+17% super and leave loading)
- Work rights: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
- Location: Kensington, Sydney
- A completed PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) (extensive and relevant clinical experience, combined with teaching experience may be considered in lieu of PhD)
- Demonstrated experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, mental health and health/sport psychology
- Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses (subjects) and programs (degrees), at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Significant experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses (subjects) and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Evidence of professional development in teaching and a strong track record of teaching excellence, including fostering this in others; with the ability to advance and lead an inclusive culture of excellence in learning and teaching
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement

- Evidence of professional development of teaching practice in self and others with the ability to advance and lead an inclusive culture of excellence in learning and teaching
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement
- Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact with clear evidence of the desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence as well as the capacity for research leadership
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision of research students at Honours and higher degree level
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the profession and industry and attract funding for research and learning and teaching initiatives
- Significant experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement, and a strong track record of teaching excellence including fostering this in others.
- Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact with clear evidence of the desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence as well as the capacity for research leadership.
