Randstad is seeking a Compliance Specialist for our global biopharmaceutical in Mettawa, IL.

• Location: Mettawa, IL 60045
• Pay Rate: $42.00 – $44.00 per hour
• Contract Duration: 1 Year, possible extension

Qualifications

Must-haves:

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel—including pivot tables and handling large datasets).
• Communication & Analytics: Highly analytical mindset with outstanding written and verbal communication skills to present findings to leadership.
• Workflow Management: Proven ability to handle multiple complex priorities simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with SharePoint.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and spot trends: Gather, organize, and evaluate complex datasets from multiple sources to identify compliance risks and present strategic solutions to leadership, legal, and ethics teams.
• Bridge compliance gaps: Create and deliver targeted communications and training materials that drive positive behavioral changes across all US Commercial business units.
• Lead audit and project initiatives: Support audit preparations and remediation efforts while leading continuous improvement projects that balance business agility with strict regulatory controls.
• Provide expert advisory: Serve as the main point of contact for daily compliance inquiries, partnering directly with field teams, home office staff, and key cross-functional stakeholders.
• Standardize processes: Draft and maintain clear procedures and work instructions to ensure commercial monitoring programs remain accurate, consistent, and effective.
