About the Role

The Commercial Insurance Account Manager – Construction job opening is a senior role with a Top 100 independent insurance broker. Here are some additional job specs:

Location: Chicago, IL. Hybrid schedule is available.

Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Take the lead on incoming calls, inquiries, and fulfilling service requests. Gather information on in-force policies, exclusions, and other related questions.
• Renewal Prep: Review expiration lists in preparation for client renewals. Prepare and maintain schedules, create summaries and coverage illustrations, prepare proposals and presentations, etc.
• Data Management: Maintain and update client files in the agency’s management system.
• Contract Review: Review contracts for construction related accounts for insurance compliance during the bidding process.

Experience:

• At least 4-5 years of commercial insurance account management experience with knowledge of insurance programs, service, and renewals for accounts in the construction industry.
• Active P&C license is required.
