What You Will Do
Join Johnson Controls as a Sales Leader in Enterprise Security and Fire Solutions , where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of smart, secure buildings. You’ll be responsible for selling our complex security and fire protection technologies to general contractors, electrical contractors, and consulting engineers—delivering tailored solutions that protect people, property, and operations.
Your expertise in enterprise-level security systems —including CCTV, card access, and integrated platforms —will be central to your success. In addition, your working knowledge of fire protection systems such as Edwards EST, Honeywell, or Simplex will allow you to offer comprehensive solutions that meet the full spectrum of customer needs.

How You Will Do It
Lead with confidence : Sell Johnson Controls’ security and fire offerings to contractors, consultants, and designers, positioning our solutions as essential to modern building design.
Drive opportunity : Identify and pursue high-value engagements, managing multiple opportunities and delivering results that align with customer goals.
Build trust : Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, listening actively and offering solutions that deliver measurable value.
Champion service : Promote renewable service agreements as a foundation for long-term customer success and satisfaction.
Be the expert : Apply your technical and business knowledge to match solutions to customer needs, positioning Johnson Controls as their preferred partner.
Advocate for excellence : Ensure customers receive maximum value from our offerings, from initial engagement through final delivery and training.
What We Look For
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of experience selling enterprise-level security and fire solutions .
Familiarity with fire protection systems such as Edwards EST, Honeywell, or Simplex .
Strong initiative, integrity, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $81,000-111,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
