Postcard is a cafe and music-forward lounge at the intersection of design, hospitality and music inspired by the liminal spirit of travel — a space where chance connections can happen, and the air is always humming with possibility.
The Role
We're a small team in a small space, and every interaction matters. As a Barista at Postcard, your role goes beyond serving food and drinks. Whether crafting the perfect matcha latte, talking about the playlist, or offering a friendly greeting, you'll play a key role in shaping the overall guest experience.
What You'll Do
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and guide guests through the menu
- Craft high quality coffee, tea, matcha, and non-alcoholic drinks with care and consistency
- Keep the space clean, organized, and inviting
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with event set-up and brand activations
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests
What We're Looking For
- 2–3+ years of experience in café
- A calm, collaborative attitude during busy periods
- A team-first mindset and comfort shifting between roles
- Interest in music, food, design, or travel (not required, but celebrated!)
- A strong sense of hospitality, grounded in care and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- ServSafe Alcohol (BASSET) Certification a plus, but not required
