Special Education Teacher – 2025–2026 School Year | Core Content Support
Our team is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to support students in core academic areas during the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, on-site position will involve co-teaching or leading instruction in English, Science, or Social Studies, depending on student needs and scheduling.
In this role, you’ll work closely with general education teachers to deliver adapted content and provide accommodations that align with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You’ll play a key role in helping students access grade-level curriculum while addressing specific learning goals. This includes modifying instructional materials, supporting differentiated instruction, and reinforcing essential academic and social-emotional skills.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is strongly preferred.
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
