9-1-1 Telecommunicator

KenCom Public Safety Dispatch is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time 9-1-1 Telecommunicator position. To be considered, all candidates with less than 2 years of experience in this field must complete testing through the National Testing Network (NTN). The test must be completed by May 1st, 2026, to be included in the current hiring round.

The starting salary is $59,467.80to $64,958.40, based on relevant experience as a 9-1-1 telecommunicator in an emergency communications center.

· Complete the NTN registration process and schedule your test

· Review the detailed information about the testing process

· Review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and take an online practice test (if desired)

Upon completion of the scheduled entry-level exam, KenCom will contact candidates who achieve a passing score to proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
