Qualifications
-
2-3+ years of recent order management experience. Must have prior experience in manufacturing.

ERP experience is required (any system).

SAP experience is a plus.

Good software aptitude.

Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Results orientation with the ability to work under pressure.

Business acumen with the ability to proactively resolve customer issues.

Project management skills.
Job Description
The top candidate chosen for this key role will be responsible for processing incoming customer purchase orders, confirming delivery, monitoring order backlog, communicating order status, and ensuring customer satisfaction along with achieving weekly KPI targets.
Responsibilities

Effectively process and track the entire life cycle of a high volume of customer orders.

Process, clarify, and confirm customer purchase orders using SAP.

Coordinate internal processes including drop-shipment routing, purchasing, stockroom, shipping, and receiving clarification.

Check inventory and release orders upon stock arrival, utilizing bi-weekly reports to ensure delivery reliability.

Initiate and supervise rush orders.

Support the order management team.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Work Environment
Standard hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility for an earlier start time. Monday through Friday onsite.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
