Tool Crib Attendant

Full-time | Permanent | Hourly

$21.00 - $23.00 | Plus a 10% Shift Premium

Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 4:00pm to 2:30am

About this Opportunity:

Prepare, order, and monitor all needed tooling and paperwork for upcoming setups.

Responsibilities:

• Adherent to all safety policies and procedures as outlined by Vantedge Medical Wheeling
• Prepare all needed tooling and paperwork for upcoming setups (Setup Bins)
• Order tooling based on job quotes & fill out requisitions for components needed on machining centers
• Monitor tool usage through ToolBoss, Blackhawk VMI system and Infor Visual ERP system.
• Assist in the allocation of raw bar stock for upcoming jobs on Swiss Machining Centers
• Work directly with machine operators and setup personnel to create optimal environment for sustaining production
• Check tooling and kits in/out as needed by machine operators
• Oversee and provide assignments for bar-stocker
• Search for and produce cost-saving measures as opportunities arise
• Cycle counts regularly as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Maintain a controlled environment and admittance to Tool Crib
• Control inventory of items through records and logs
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• All other duties as assigned by manager

• High school diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Cooperative, self-starting attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work overtime and/or extended hours as needed
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
