- Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of design-build projects in the commercial sector.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Manage project risk, including identification, analysis, and response planning.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Utilize Procore or equivalent project management software for project tracking, communication, and documentation.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Resolve any project issues or disputes quickly and efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the design-build construction industry.
- Proven experience with Procore or equivalent project management software.
- Strong understanding of the design-build process, including planning, design, and construction phases.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost management, and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project issues and disputes effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure all project requirements are met to the highest quality standards.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development in project management practices.
