Industrial Pump Overhaul Technician

You will:

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild a variety of large pumps (horizontal and vertical).
• Interpret blueprints/schematics and construct the necessary foundations or fixtures for assembly/disassembly.
• Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
• Measure with M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..) and other gauges to verify tolerances.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy components.

You bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a pump mechanic or related rotating equipment role.
• Competency with hand tools (wrenches, impact guns) and powered equipment.
• Overhead crane and forklift operation experience.
• Ability to read/understand inspection tools and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; manual dexterity and control precision.
• Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Tools & Machinery on the Floor

• Manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools.
• Micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tooling.
• Fork trucks and overhead cranes.

Physical Demands & Accommodations

The environmental characteristic for this position is an industrial setting with large machinery, overhead cranes, trucks and forklifts. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, with a premium for 2nd shift based on skills and experience.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• Schedule: 8 hour shift.
• Job Type: Full-time; Work Location: In person.
