How you'll make an impactThe Manager, Claim Intake Product Owner & Support, plays a critical role in supporting Gallagher Bassett’s most visible and client facing technical capability: the claim and First Notice of Loss (FNOL) intake platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring stability, confidence, and continuous improvement across the systems that serve as the front door to all claim handling solutions offered to our clients.
The role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand business needs, translate complex technical requirements, and deliver highly reliable , scalable intake solutions. It requires deep technical knowledge of Gallagher Bassett’s internal systems and integrations, as well as the ability to interpret and communicate complex data exchanges between client systems and GB platforms.
This is a high-touch, client focused technical position that demands strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond quickly to unique and time sensitive challenges. The Manager must be comfortable operating in a 24x7x365 environment, often under pressure , off a traditional clock or on an accelerated timeline to resolve immediate client needs while maintaining system integrity and organizational service excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Set operational direction and accountability for claim intake technology support
- You will be an own er of the overall health, stability, and performance of claim and FNOL intake platforms. By establishing clear priorities, escalation paths, and operational standards, you will ensure technical challenges are investigated, resolved, and prevented through disciplined root cause analysis and corrective action.
Lead technical evaluation and solution governance
- You will oversee the assessment of future technology requests, enhancements, and configuration changes within the existing ecosystem. By guiding feasibility analysis and setting guardrails around system capabilities and limitations, you will enable sound decision making that balances innovation, scalability, and operational resilience.
Drive strong cross functional collaboration and communication
- You will establish effective partnerships across internal technology, operations, and support teams. By setting expectations for documentation, knowledge sharing, and communication cadence, you will improve transparency, reduce repeat issues, and strengthen organizational confidence in intake platforms.
Champion continuous improvement and technical innovation
- You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance system performance, streamline intake processes, and modernize support models. By staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, you will guide the evolution of intake capabilities while maintaining system stability and service excellence.
Build, lead, and develop high performing technical teams
- You will directly manage and grow a team of full-time employees, including analysts and support specialists across diverse technical disciplines. Through coaching, mentoring, and career development planning, you will strengthen technical depth, expand leadership capability, and foster long term career growth within the organization.
Provide decisive leadership in high pressure environments
- You will serve as the escalation point for complex or time sensitive issues, setting a calm, structured approach to problem solving in a 24x7x365 operating model. By guiding teams through critical moments, you will protect system integrity while reinforcing accountability and resilience.
Serve as a trusted deputy and extension of executive leadership
- You will directly support the AVP, Claim Intake Systems & Technology by acting as a delegated leader for escalations, operational oversight, and strategic initiatives. In this capacity, at times, you will represent GBIT in leadership forums, drive alignment across teams, and ensure continuity of decision making in the AVP’s absence. You will proactively surface risks, provide clear recommendations, and support executive level planning, prioritization, and communication to enable effective leadership of the claim intake technology portfolio.
Required:

Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
