Locums Opportunity: Radiologist with Light IR Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Urgency: Same-day interview and offer; start upon credentialing Number of Providers Needed: 3 Schedule

  • Shift: On-site, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
  • Call: None
  • Coverage: Scheduled diagnostic reads + light IR procedures
  • Setting: Hospital-based
Clinical Scope Primary Focus:
  • Diagnostic reads:
    • Plain films
    • CTs
    • MRIs
    • CTP (perfusion studies) Not required , training provided or paired with proficient reader
Light Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedures:
  • Myelograms
  • Lumbar punctures (fluoro-guided)
  • Retrograde urethrograms
  • Arthrograms
  • Joint injections (fluoro-guided)
  • GI Fluoroscopy Studies:
    • Modified barium swallow studies (video swallows)
    • Upper GI series
    • Lower GI series (barium enemas)
    • Full contrast lower GI studies
    • Air contrast (double-contrast) lower GI studies
Note: Volume of light IR variessome days may include up to 6 procedures; others may have none. Licensure & Credentialing
  • Illinois Medical License: Required or willing to obtain
  • Credentialing Timeline: Start date flexible based on credentialing completion
