Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This role is within a dynamic Neuro MedSurg Acute environment, providing essential care for patients with neurological conditions. As a travel RN, you will immerse yourself in a challenging and rewarding work setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide patient care and supervision in a neuro unit with 54 beds
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 during day shift and 1:5-6 at night
• Titrate drips, particularly heparin, based on patient needs
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to maintain quality care
• Engage in general unit duties and rotations as needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or process initiation confirmation
• BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Previous travel and dedicated neuro unit experience
