General Configuration

Pay, Attendance, Workflow, Forms, Security

This role should feel more cross-functional and architectural.

Core Configuration

· How do you balance standardized configuration with client-specific exceptions?

· What's the most complex attendance or pay policy logic you've supported without custom code?

Workflow & Forms

· Can you describe workflows you've configured to support payroll, time corrections, or approvals?

· How do you determine when to use a form versus an automated workflow?

· What challenges have you faced maintaining workflows over time as business needs changed?

Security

· How do you design Dayforce security roles to support segregation of duties?

· Can you give an example of a security setup that prevented a payroll or compliance issue?

Ownership Check

· If a new policy request comes in, how do you assess impact across pay, attendance, workflows, and security before configuring?

Skills and Requirements

· Strong Dayforce WFM configuration expertise in conjunction with familiarity with payroll functionality and processes

· Good knowledge with Dayforce attendance module

· Able to understand and troubleshoot complex policies, accrual balance, pay code and attendance setup etc

Good knowledge with Dayforce report functionality. Be able to build and execute WFM and Payroll related reports to analyze pay impact
