About the Role:

Job Title: Fullstack Java Developer

Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid 3 days on-site

Ascendion is hiring for a leading Financial Services firm that is committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge financial software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Partner with technology peers and product owners and lead collaborative efforts to ensure a successful end-to-end project delivery
• Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of strong experience in Core Java, Object Oriented Programming, Spring
• Experience with React, 3+ years.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint)
• Hands-On experience on micro services frameworks and tools (Spring Boot, Jersey, Swagger)
• Knowledge of container based development and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Experience with AWS
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000- $105,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
