Deposit Operations Representative III
:
First Mid's Deposit Operations team is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that works with various internal and external customers. The Deposit Operations Representative III is a subject matter expert in multiple areas, understands the regulatory requirements within the division, and applies their technical skills and critical thinking to accomplish complex tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Identify and articulate efficiency and business process automation opportunities. Partner with the Deposit Operations team to develop a plan and assist with the implementation of the plan.
- Assist with coordination of operational activities for assigned functional areas; may provide general back-up and training for designated functions.
- Provide escalated research, troubleshooting and remediation of issues.
- Identify opportunities to implement improvements in processes and/or controls.
- Work with application, software, and 3rd party vendors to resolve complex system issues.
- Assist with coordinating system enhancements and/or conversions from an operational perspective.
- Create business analytics reports for internal and regulatory purposes. Performs a basic analysis of the results to ensure accuracy of the results and potential enhancements to the report.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting including KPI and SLA metrics. Includes tracking and analyzing data and identifying anomalies.
- Assist with audit requests for documentation and control testing purposes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Complete required training specific to job responsibility.
Qualifications: Education/Experience: - Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2-4 years within in a financial institution.
- Previous deposit operations, treasury management product support, debit card or ATM experience preferred but not required.
Skills: - Proficient with core banking systems.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to represent the company in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Ability to work in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures and the respective state and federal laws and regulations governing departmental functions to ensure performance of individual job duties within the proper control environment.
- Sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
