Responsibilities

The Contract Coordinator (“CC”) is responsible for maintaining, organizing and supporting the execution of contracts with health care providers as directed by medical group leadership. Communicates and partners with the medical group leadership, recruitment and legal teams in a joint effort to optimize the contracting process. CC must communicate clearly and efficiently by phone, email and in person with medical group administration, hospital administration, physicians, legal department and other staff members. CC is an organized professional with extensive clerical skills and general understanding of healthcare contracts, the contracting process, and an electronic contract management system.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. 2-3 years of experience in contract management position, preferably in healthcare

2. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

3. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

4. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.

5. Ability to multitask, prioritize to meet required timelines.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $24.23. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
