In-House Junior Attorney
Location: Naperville, IL (Full-Time, Onsite)

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an In-House Junior Attorney to support legal work related to equipment financing, commercial contracts, and government-funded energy projects. This role will work closely with internal teams on drafting agreements, supporting transactions, and ensuring compliance with finance and lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Contracts & Legal Documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and financing agreements
- Prepare and support equipment lease and loan documentation
- Review security agreements and transaction documents
- Assist with structuring agreements for customers and partners
- Provide legal support on secured equipment financing transactions
- Review credit, collateral, investor, and lender documentation
- Help ensure compliance with lending and finance regulations
- Support legal documentation for municipal, state, and federal projects
- Assist with financing agreements for energy efficiency projects
- Review Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs)
- Conduct legal research and advise internal stakeholders
- Assist with dispute resolution and collections matters
- Support compliance and coordinate with outside counsel
Qualifications:
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois
- 1–2 years of legal experience
- Strong contract drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to work onsite in Naperville
