Job Description

This specialty insurance company is looking for an Offshore Middleware Developer to join their engineering team supporting backend-heavy initiatives. The role will focus on designing and maintaining middleware and business logic using .NET and C# within a microservices-based architecture, while integrating APIs and shared cloud services on Azure. The developer will collaborate closely with platform and frontend teams, contributing to scalable, reliable backend solutions.

An excellent candidate is a mid-level developer with strong .NET/C# backend experience, comfort working in microservices and Azure environments, and bonus exposure to insurance systems, Unqork, or JavaScript-driven frontend components.

Skills and Requirements

Mid-level developer with ~4+ years of experience

Strong experience with .NET Framework and C#

Backend-focused full stack background (approximately 80% backend)

Hands-on experience building middleware and business logic layers

Experience with Microservices Architecture

Exposure to Azure platforms

Experience building and consuming cloud-based APIs Insurance domain experience

Exposure to Unqork (low-code / no-code UI platform)

Frontend experience with JavaScript
