Equipment Transport – Seasonal (Dance Competition Tour)
Location: Wilmington, IL (Travel across the U.S.)
Duration: 13 weeks
Precision Arts Challenge is seeking reliable and professional Equipment Transport for the upcoming dance competition season. This is a seasonal position lasting 13 weeks, with travel to various venues across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company box trucks to and from event venues nationwide.
- Load and unload equipment at each venue (loading instructions and charts will be provided).
- Ensure the truck is packed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Weekend Crew Responsibilities:
In addition to driving duties, truck drivers will also be required to work in another crew role during event weekends. This will come with additional pay. Assignments will be based on individual skills and may include, but are not limited to:
- Photography
- Merchandising
- Awards Coordination
- General event support
Schedule:
- Standard travel days are Thursday through Monday.
- Some venues may require extended travel from Wednesday through Tuesday.
- All routes begin and end at our warehouse in Wilmington, Illinois.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a team and assist in various event roles.
- Must abstain from illegal substance use at all times while operating the vehicle.
