Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Extensive cardiac nursing experience.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Step-Down ICU settings.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, policies, and state regulations.
• Monitor patient status, identify changes, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Develop individualized care plans and provide patient/family education.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and participate in performance improvement activities.
