Material Handling Coordinator I

Job Description Works in Distribution center involved in all aspects of order fulfillment activities, such as cycle counting, stock put away, and picking, checking, packing orders and receiving. Ensures a steady workflow by following procedures and work instructions under guidance of the warehouse manager. Focus on quality and process improvement in every job assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Cycle Counting
• Pick orders for shipment by identifying, pulling, and loading.
• Receiving inbound shipments.
• Packing of small parcel orders for UPS/FedEx
• With proper training, may operate forklift, pallet jacks, carts, conveyor and other material handling equipment.
• Cross Train in all departments of the DC consisting of Inbound/Outbound and Value Added.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• One to two years of material handling experience.
• Must be able to work 9-5:30PM
• Good personal and communication skills
• Computer knowledge
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, stand and walk on hard surfaces such as concrete on a regular basis.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Working Environment: Warehouse, prolonged standing. Clean environment, 9 am to 5:30 pm shift.

Qualification Requirements: Previous Material handling experience, basic DC warehouse knowledge with frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Hazardous Materials training as required.

Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour
