Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite experience, advanced Excel skills, and prior exposure to Coupa or similar procurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in NetSuite
• Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) and resolve discrepancies
• Manage vendor setup, maintenance, and respond to vendor inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) for reconciliations and reporting
• Partner with Procurement and Operations teams to improve AP workflows
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests
• Identify process improvements and assist with system enhancements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)
• Strong understanding of AP best practices and accounting fundamentals
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Coupa or similar procure-to-pay systems
• Experience in a mid-sized or growing organization
• Prior involvement in system implementations or process improvements

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25–$27 per hour, based on experience
