We’re looking for a friendly and confident Host who thrives in a fine dining environment and loves creating exceptional experiences. In this role, you’ll be the warm welcome our members and guests look forward to—setting the tone for an enjoyable, seamless dining experience. Our Host is responsible for seating members and guests while keeping track of our capacity in our reservation system. The Host works cohesively with team members and the leadership team to ensure all information is communicated to assist with providing the best service possible.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday 11am-7:30pm (Open Availability Required)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greets and directs members & guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements.
• Helps create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and team members.
• Exhibits exceptional communications skills. Works well with others, demonstrates flexibility and patience; possesses an interest in people.
• Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information that is shared.
• Supervises the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Ensures side work and station setup is properly completed before service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency safety procedures and helps evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or emergency.
• Assists with service, including occasional bussing, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Communicates with the Valet team to ensure members or guests have their vehicle ready.
• Works well with staff in other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions.
• Answers telephone and make reservations, assist with room service orders
• Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• At least one to two years experience as a Host in a fine dining restaurant or private club
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to use a tablet, laptop or computer
• Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler, Basset, Allergen & CPR Certifications
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of some Saturdays & two Sundays for major club events if needed

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
• Move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant.
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to multi-task and keep track of time.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with members, guests, teammates, and managers.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
