Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production uptime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
• Conduct advanced PLC troubleshooting using computer software including AB RS Logics and other plant software.
• Support the direction of maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds.
• Demonstrate advanced fabrication skills, including sanitary welds.
• Communicate effectively with OEMs, contractors, and other vendors regarding equipment and infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia, and wastewater breakdowns as applicable.
• Lead maintenance technicians in the absence of the maintenance lead or supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and machine maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform mechanical repairs.
• Experience in pneumatics and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tape measures and mechanical maintenance.

This is a Permanent position based out of South Beloit, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50876.00 - $69243.00/yr.

PTO, health, vision and dental insurance. Life insurance. Short and long term disability.
