As the first point of contact for patients and providers, the front desk team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Job Description:

The Healthcare Receptionist will manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, call handling, and administrative duties. This individual will also scan medical records daily and work closely with providers and patients. A professional, reliable, and personable demeanor is essential as this role is patient-facing and key to creating a positive first impression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in/out patients for same-day surgical procedures
• Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
• Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate departments or staff
• Scan and upload medical records accurately into the system
• Interact professionally with providers and patients
• Provide general administrative support to the office staff

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of front desk experience in a healthcare or patient-facing setting
• EPIC system experience highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation; must live within 30 minutes of Tinley Park, IL

Additional Details:

• Type of Assignment: Contract (12 weeks minimum – FMLA coverage)
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Dress Code: Business casual (no jeans or sandals)
• Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle – no exceptions
