Responsibilities (Short)
- Provide Med-Surg adult patient care with a 5:1 ratio
- Perform ongoing assessments, documentation, and monitoring
- Manage stroke patients , requiring NIHSS assessments
- Administer medications and follow care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and respond to patient needs
- Use EPIC EMR for charting
Requirements
Job Requirements
Certifications
- BLS/BCLS – Required
- NIHSS Certification – Required (medical stroke unit)
Experience
- Minimum Experience: 1 year (Med-Surg Adult)
Licensing
- State License: Must be currently active (Illinois RN license)
