Position Overview

We are seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice. This is a hybrid role, with only one required in‑office day per month. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable handling a caseload while working in a mostly remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 45+ family law matters
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and provide thoughtful legal guidance to clients
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions
• Communicate regularly with clients and maintain strong client relationships
• Participate in consultations and assist with new client intake
• Support firm marketing efforts, including networking and outreach events
• Perform administrative and case management tasks related to the practice of law
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards

Qualfications

• 0–3 years of family law experience (newer attorneys encouraged to apply)
• Active Illinois law license and good standing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability xrczosw to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting
• Client‑focused mindset with a professional and empathetic approach
• Spanish speaking preferred
