Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary
Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk – Temporary position will support Shorr’s corporate AP team.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for capturing invoices every day in our AP Automation tool - Softco, approximately 200-500 a day
- Monitoring accounts payable email box for daily correspondence
- Reviewing and requesting vendor statements
- Working through cash application issues with vendors
- Responding to vendor inquiries, including cash remittance details, short-pays and missing invoices
- Check printing 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (subject to change)
- Download invoices from utility websites and send to Softco for processing
The hourly rate for this temporary position is $23/hour based on candidate experience. This temporary position is not benefits eligible.
This temporary position is targeted to start on 9/22/2025 and will end on 1/30/2026.
The expected hours for this role are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday and the position is in the office five days a week.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office solutions including Excel, Outlook and Teams,
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Self-directed and ability to manage area of responsibility with limited oversight.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure
