Warehouse Planner Coordinator

We are seeking a Warehouse Planner Coordinator to support operations within a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing daily workloads, and ensuring customer and operational requirements are met efficiently.



Location: Gurnee, IL

Pay Rate: $19.35/HR

Schedule: Full-time | Overtime as needed

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing orders and transfers using internal systems
• Assign and coordinate daily workloads for warehouse staff
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation for TL, LTL, and courier shipments
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing
• Communicate with drivers and provide direction as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order and shipment issues
• Maintain strong communication with customers to meet service expectations
• Assist with customer inquiries and complaint resolution
• Organize and maintain shipping and operational documentation
• Complete required reports and track operational data
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures
• Support additional warehouse functions as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory, or customer service environment preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and data systems)
• Ability to perform basic math calculations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment (hot/cold conditions)
