CNC Operator — Lean Manufacturing & Kaizen Practitioner

Worksite: Alsip, IL

Open to: CNC Machine I, II & Specialist talent

Your mission

1. Execute Standard Work: set up CNC equipment, run parts, and complete PM.
2. Build quality in: inspect features to print, hold tight tolerances, deburr, and complete manual operations as required.
3. Prepare what’s next: select and preset tools for upcoming jobs to cut changeover time.
4. Improve the system: maintain visual controls, create/support countermeasures, and sustain a clean, safe workspace.
5. Engage CI: contribute to SMED, Kaizen events, and 5 Whys problem‑solving.
6. Protect people and equipment: resolve or report abnormalities and champion safe practices.

What you’ll need

• At least 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience.
• Fluency in reading blueprints and holding close tolerances.
• Mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Schedule choices

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am

Earnings

• Pay range: $23.89–$31.24 per hour
• Second shift differential: +$1.35/hr
• Sign‑on bonus: $2,000.00 (Payment details at time of offer)

Tools of the trade

• CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
