About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License: Must have active Illinois license in hand to apply. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. Must-Have: Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience required. Experience with Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Left heart catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and Right heart catheterization. Experience with Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring. Ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation. Cerner experience is required. Description: Please review the submittal instructions and provide answers upon submission. This position is for a Cath Lab RN. The average daily census is 25 with a 5-room unit. Candidates may work 2-3 weekends per contract. Call is required as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with the manager. Candidates will float if needed to meet facility needs. RTO restrictions ideally should not exceed 5 days. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. The facility is an acute care hospital, Level I trauma center, and a Magnet facility. Total staffed beds are 562. Candidates must confirm RTO and start date are accurate at the time of submission. Emergency procedures are supported by Rapid Response Teams. Candidates are expected to provide exceptional patient care to adults and geriatrics. All candidates must complete compliance needs in a timely manner. Background check reviews must be noted upon submission. Candidates should be prepared for a virtual at-home day on the first day of assignment. Client has strict module deadlines, and candidates will be pushed if not completed on time.
