Teacher of the Visually Impaired
GHR Education is actively hiring a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for an immediate opening in Romeoville, IL!
This is a meaningful opportunity to support students from early childhood through transition age while working within a collaborative and student-centered school environment. Teacher of the Visually Impaired – Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (school day hours)
- Location: School in Romeoville, IL
- Start Date: ASAP through May 22, 2026
- Caseload: Pre-K through Transition Age students
- Employment Type: W2
- Benefits (W2 employees): Health, vision, dental, 401(k)
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement as Teacher of Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired
- Prior experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired preferred
