Warehouse & Delivery Manager
- Actively manage daily warehouse and delivery performance, including receiving, material handling, assignment, and routing.
- Achieve financial objectives through budget management, variance analysis, and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Promptly address and resolve delivery issues such as missed, late, or incomplete deliveries.
- Ensure all parts deliveries are properly processed for payment.
- Reconcile delivery or payment discrepancies directly to prevent escalation.
- Update customer account details and delivery routes as needed to correct errors or improve efficiency.
- Oversee inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.
- Oversee employee and driver safety and performance; ensure all driver credentials are current and vehicles are clean, registered, and compliant.
- Train employees on company and regulatory policies and procedures, including properly operating a forklift.
- Ensure employees complete all required training (e.g., ARC) and schedule time for any outstanding modules.
- Provide timely feedback to drivers and warehouse employees—both corrective (e.g., unsafe driving or working behavior, citations) and positive (e.g., customer praise, excellent performance).
- Monitor and follow up on daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure preventive maintenance (PMs) is completed on schedule using the Elite system.
- Track downed vehicles, coordinate repairs, and minimize rental expenses without impacting service levels.
- Conduct regular audits to confirm that vehicle inspections are performed accurately and consistently.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve delivery issues quickly.
- Ensure all overtime is approved and communicated clearly.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- At least 5 years of experience in warehousing and/or logistics.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Compensation: $80,000-$85,000. Salary will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications and education.
