Our client is hiring a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab Supervisor!

Responsibilities of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab Supervisor

• Lead and supervise a small team of quality lab technicians in a 24/7 facility serving the metal forming industry
• Be responsible for all activities pertaining to the wastewater department and the analytical testing of chemicals and water used in the facility for processing
• Schedule test, maintenance and verification functions for the production lines in order to minimize production downtime
• Develop wastewater treatment and chemical processing plans in compliance with company goals
• Be prepared for unplanned call-ins to the facility in the event of an obscure and very rare event pertaining to a line down situation so you can apply your expertise and leadership where needed
• Be responsible to comply with the city of Rockford, the state of Illinois and Federal EPA regulations
• Lead wastewater, water treatment and chemistry testing for the facility and manage the department budget
• Assist with quality initiatives such as ISO Registration and Corrective Actions

Requirements of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Wate r Treatment Certified Lab Supervisor

• Three or more years of Lab Supervisory experience within a chemistry, chemical, wastewater or water testing type of environment is required
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a strong plus
• Class K Water Treatment Certification is a strong plus
• High School Diploma is required
• Bachelor's degree especially in a technical discipline such as chemistry from any university around the world is a plus
• Use MS Office including Excel and Word

Compensation for the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab Supervisor

The annual starting base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 per year to $95,000 per year based on experience
