About Us
We are a busy, family-owned customer-focused automotive repair shop dedicated to providing high-quality service and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are looking for a dependable and organized Auto Service Writer/Manager to join our team and serve as the key link between our customers and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Prepare repair orders and cost estimates
- Communicate recommended services and timelines clearly
- Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
- Provide updates on repair status
- Process payments and explain invoices
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service writing or advising experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and service management software (currently Techmetric)
- Valid driver’s license (recommended)
