Position Title: Part Time Customer Service Representative

Reports To: Assistant Director of Operations

FLSA Status: Hourly | Union

Pay: Per Union Contract

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This class performs routine clerical support for the customer service department which will include investigations, report creation and tracking, general clerical, and data entry support; general forms, and other documents as required. Position requires high level of confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides administrative support to the Operations and Safety/Security department which includes: investigating complaints, compliments and suggestions received from Customer Service via video software and phone/radio communications.
• Creates and maintains a variety of routine and/or specialized spreadsheets, which may include: safety metrics, operations metrics, safety tracker, complaint tracker, customer service reports and/or other related materials.
• Coordinates between Union leadership and Operations staff for management discussions related to complaint resolutions; assists Safety/Security with filing of incident and accident reports, worker's compensation claims and assists with ordering of safety and operations supplies as needed.
• Assisting other administrative departments as instructed by AGM.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), and one year of experience in an office assistant role; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Previous safety or operations/logistics experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Customer service principles;
• Modern office procedures, methods, and equipment;
• Basic filing and record keeping principles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

SKILLS:

• Using computers and related software applications; highly proficient in Excel
• Providing customer service to internal and external customers;
• Filing;
• Keyboarding;
• Using modern office equipment;
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

As part of our normal procedure for processing applications, inquiries may be made concerning information on an applicant's work, driving, criminal and educational history.

A pre-employment drug screen, background check, and professional/personal reference checks are required for all applicants. A physical examination, including range of motion, lift test, whisper test, eye test, MVR review, and credit check may be required depending on position. These tests must be successfully completed prior to starting employment.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Sunday 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
