Salary: $18.14-$21.77/hour

Job Summary:

Responsible for timely cash application, payment issue resolution, account accuracy, and support of cash flow and credit risk management.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Post and apply daily payments by matching bank activity and remittance to invoices.
• Resolve short payments, unapplied cash, debit memos, and other payment exceptions.
• Process credit memos and manual billings in a highly accurate and detail oriented manner.
• Investigate account issues and coordinate with internal teams on resolution and escalations.
• Reconcile AR balances, support month-end close, and use aging/performance data to prioritize risk accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and make decisions regarding credit risks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical problem-solving skills; foreign currency knowledge preferred.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor degree in accounting preferred, with at least two years of related accounts receivable or collections experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Working Conditions:

• Standard office environment with occasional exposure to the warehouse.
