Mobile Staging Division Manager (Calumet City)

Location: Calumet City, IL | Full-Time | Salaried + Benefits

The Mobile Stage Manager leads all aspects of Technotrix’s mobile stage operations, from scheduling and DOT compliance to deployment, safety, and on-site execution. This leadership role ensures that mobile stages are delivered, installed, operated, and returned safely and efficiently every time. This role is responsible for both operational execution and contributing to revenue growth within the Mobile Stage Division.

Planning & Coordination

• Manage the mobile stage deployment calendar and coordinate transport with logistics.
• Verify site readiness (dimensions, grade, access, utilities) prior to deployment.
• Align schedules with project timelines and client needs.
• Generate accurate quotes and proposals for mobile stage projects, including staging accessories and related equipment.
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to scope and execute mobile stage projects
• Review and approve mobile stage rigging plots to ensure safety and compliance with design standards.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance, inspection, and readiness of all mobile stage assets
• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all stages are show-ready and safe prior to deployment.
• Support continuous improvement of mobile stage operations, processes, and efficiency

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure DOT compliance, pre-trip inspections, and driver documentation
• Enforce manufacturer safety guidelines, including wind speed limits and load charts
• Monitor weather conditions and execute shutdown procedures as needed

On-Site Leadership

• Direct positioning, leveling, outriggers, mast/roof setup, and deck configurations
• Oversee installation of railings, stairs, and banner kits
• Supervise crews and enforce safety protocols on site

Client & Team Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for mobile stage clients from planning through execution
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
• Communicate deployment status, timing, and handoff details clearly.
• Document site conditions, incidents, and post-show notes.

Technical & Software Skills

• Computer proficiency required; experience with industry tools is a plus:
• AutoCAD (or similar drafting software)
• Flex Rental Solutions
• Lasso

• 5+ years of experience operating or managing mobile stage systems.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe operating practices.
• Proven leadership and on-site decision-making skills.
• CDL-A license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
