Overview: BI Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer, SR in its Aurora, IL office to design, develop, and document technical aspects of software systems and related hardware interface components, based on product and system requirements. Qualifications: Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus four (4) year(s) of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.
• Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
  • Object Oriented Development
  • Service Oriented Development
  • Two (2) or more of the following: PHP, Laravel, Python, or Djang
  • Angular 4, CSS, DHTML, and jQuery
  • Xamarin, HTML5, iOS and Android
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 or higher
  • Microsoft Windows 2012 or higher
  • Two (2) or more of the following: SQLAlchemy, PDO, React JS, Node JS, Pands, or NumPy.
  • SQL Server 2012 or higher.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities: Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Develop and modify software solutions of a high degree of complexity and scope, using a thorough knowledge of current software development techniques and capabilities within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Provide technical support to application engineers and lower-level software engineers.
• Achieve the most efficient use of available computing resources through effective use of best practices and design patterns.
• Provide new solutions and work collaboratively with Enterprise Architecture.
• Work with System Administration team to support production environment, as needed.
• Ensure defined quality controls are met to mitigate defects.
• Provide strategies relating to quality and testing throughout the development process.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
• This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any employees.

Pay: Pay USD $127,754.00/Yr.
