UPM Pulp in North America is looking for a Technical Marketing and Service s Manager to join their team . The position will be remote/home office-based in the United States.

What you will do

UPM Pulp’s global Technical Marketing and Customer Service Team works closely with pulp customers in hands-on development projects and problem-solving issues. Your main task is to work proactively on technical topics with our current and potential pulp customers :

• Cultivate technical relationships, p rovide technical recommendations and l ead qualification efforts to support strategic sales growth in North America

• Support successful use of UPM Pulp products through technical know ledge of multiple fibers and various end uses ( premium tissue end use focus) , while utilizing the UPM resources available in our mills, R&D, and global TMS teams

• Drive technical collaborations with customers to deliver optimization in their process

• Cooperate with product managers and the global TMS team for product development

• Stay close to customer s to understand relevant tissue technology , quality development, and new product development needs
  
  

Who you are :

• You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering , Paper and Pulp Technology, or equivalent

• You possess 5 + years of hands-on premium tissue production, product development, or tissue chemical supplier experience

• You h ave experience with s tructured TAD premium tissue

• You are self-motivated , have excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a willingness to take initiative

• You r work is customer-centric , and you are determined to maintain excellent professional relations with clients based on transparency and trust

• You have excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and in writing)

• You are flexible and ready to travel

• You are fluent in both spoken and written English

Salary range : 111,500 to 148,700 USD / year based on qualifications and experience
