Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Interventional Radiology Technologist. You will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and treat various conditions. This role involves operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Job Description

• Assist interventional radiologists during image-guided procedures.
• Operate angiographic and other specialized imaging equipment.
• Administer contrast media as needed for procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Ensure proper equipment setup, maintenance, and quality control.
• Participate in procedure documentation and compliance with departmental protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth procedure flow and patient care.

Skills Required

• Interventional Rad Tech experience required
• At least one (1) year of experience
• Secondly, have knowledge in CT (computerized Tomography)- preferred

Education/Training/Certifications

• Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist
• Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
• BLS required

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Pay Rate

• $53–$62 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
