Job Title: Radiology Technologist – Night Shift (Contract)

Job Type: 13-Week Contract

Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and surgical imaging. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to established clinical protocols. This role serves as the primary patient-facing imaging professional within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with facility dress code standards
• Participate in mandatory education, training, and in-service programs
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Accurately maintain radiology records, file/distribute reports, and complete required documentation
• Review imaging requisitions for clinical accuracy and patient demographic verification
• Assess patient condition and ensure safety, including proper use of restraints/support devices when needed
• Verify technical accuracy of imaging studies and communicate findings appropriately
• Ensure correct anatomical positioning and proper image labeling
• Utilize electronic systems for documentation and charge capture
• Prioritize patient care and implement physician orders efficiently
• Provide coverage across multiple imaging modalities as required
• Assist in onboarding and training of new team members
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and adherence to imaging safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• Valid Illinois Radiology Technologist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• CT certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience preferred
