Line Mechanic (Maywood)

LINE MECHANIC

Location : Broadview, IL
Shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Monday Friday
Pay : $26 - $30 (dependent on experience)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures machinery set up and ready to run when production begins.
• Fills out daily safety inspection card
• Train line personnel for proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in the resolution of all line mechanical problems.
• Suggest improvement for line efficiency.
• Maintains cleanliness of his line and the equipment on it.
• Opens and closes the facility as scheduled

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Capable of lifting and moving 20 lbs. a distance of 10 feet.
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling during the entire shift.
• Ability to work within non-climate-controlled facility

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience
• Including but not limited to: Preventative maintenance, gears, conveyers, and motors
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and changing fuses
• Basic understanding of PLCs
• Ability to change drives
• Must be proficient in English
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus
