Senior Manager DevSecOps & Site Reliability (SRE)

Job Description

Architect and implement DevSecOps and SRE prac?ces for hybrid environments (on-prem and

cloud).

• Define and execute DevSecOps strategy, including policy, standards, and guardrails.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, security automa?on, and incident management; build/operate

pipelines with integrated quality gates, code scanning (Sonar), secrets management, SBOM, and

IaC.

• Lead SRE func?ons: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, resilience engineering, performance, and capacity

planning.

• Deploy, manage, and op?mize observability and event management pla]orms; stand up metrics,

tracing, logging, and immutable logging for governance and audits.

• Coordinate releases across 7+ scrum teams, aligning regression/UAT calendars and compliance

gates; lead and govern change/release management processes, including CAB par?cipa?on and

risk mi?ga?on.

• Champion security-by-design: threat modeling, shi -le tes?ng, dependency hygiene, data

segmenta?on, and zero-trust.

• Drive incident/problem management, defect remedia?on, and con?nuous improvement

ini?a?ves.

• Collaborate with product, architecture, pla]orm, and cross-func?onal teams on moderniza?on,

cloud migra?on to Azure/GCP, and cost controls; provide execu?ve-level repor?ng.

• Manage vendor/contractor teams and ensure alignment with organiza?onal goals.

• Champion automa?on and pla]orm engineering for opera?onal efficiency.

• Maintain comprehensive documenta?on and generate opera?onal reports.

• Mentor and coach DevSecOps/SRE engineers; foster a culture of accountability, con?nuous

improvement, and professional growth.

• Facilitate program-level ceremonies; RTE experience (PI planning) is beneficial.

• Contribute to long-term planning, technology adop?on strategies, and innova?on ini?a?ves to

drive pla]orm moderniza?on and transforma?on

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of DevSecOps & SRE leadership in hybrid enterprise environments.

• Proven release management for mul?-team agile trains (7+ teams).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitHub/ADO), ar?fact management, code scanning, and

observability stacks.

• Deep knowledge of security frameworks and compliance in healthcare-grade systems.

• Strong coaching, stakeholder management, and execu?ve communica?on skills.

• 3+ years in change/release management, incident/problem management, and ITIL frameworks.

• Experience with cloud pla]orms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containeriza?on (Docker, Kubernetes), and

observability tools.

• Experience managing vendor/contractor teams Cloud transforma?on delivery on Azure/GCP; FinOps/SRE capacity planning.

• RTE experience (PI planning).

• Cer?fica?ons: SAFe (RTE/SM), CKA/CKAD, AZ-400, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer,

CISSP/CCSP.

• Domain experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management, Health Insurance, Clinical U?liza?on

Management Products, or Prior Authoriza?on.

• Cer?fica?ons: ITIL 4 Prac??oner, DevOps Ins?tute Observability/SRE Founda?on, ServiceNow

CIS-Event Management, xMagers Integrator.

• Experience in healthcare, retail, or pharmacy environments.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS, FedRAMP
